Tonight while having a nice family meal , Just my kids and I talking about report cards and my son sharing news about his great day . I stepped out the door to retrieve the mail , as I came back up the walk I noticed my daughter was holding her throat and turning red my son grabbed her and started to do the Heimlick maneuver on her . She is fine , thanks to my son's quick thinking and his remembering how to do the Heimlick maneuver which he has never done before and learned in scouts but 2 years ago. I just want all those who know it it is a great thing to teach your kids , even those who around children who have special needs as my daughter does. Scouts is a great program , and they do work with low income and single parent families. I am so glad he did scouts , and I am a very proud mom .
